Melissa George
Melissa George was born on June 6, 1976. George is an ex-national artistic skateboarding champion as well as a model. She started her acting career as Angel Parrish in Home and Away (1993-1996). George's feature film debut was in Dark City (1998), after her move to the United States. Then, she played part-time roles in Steven soderbergh's The Limey (1999), David Lynch's Mulholland Drive 2001, Sugar & Spice 2001, and Down with Love (2003).
George was able to transition into lead roles when she starred as Kathy Lutz in the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror. She followed this with an array of films within the horror and thriller genres like Derailed (2005), Turistas (2006), WDZ (2007), 30 Days of Night (2007), Triangle (2009), A Lonely Place to Die (2011) as well as Felony (2013).
